What do you do at Calvary? 
I am the Fine Arts Teacher.

How did you come to Calvary and how long have you been here?
My daughter was a former preschool student. I was observed teaching an art lesson to her class as a “community helper” and was hired shortly thereafter. I joined Calvary Preschool in 2004 as a Jr. K teacher and Fine Arts Teacher.

What is your educational background and training?
I graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in Art/Drama and Music from Cal State San Bernadino. I was a contracted Fine Arts Teacher for five years teaching children throughout Orange County and have been a Preschool teacher for many years. I have attended Santa Ana College and community classes for further education.

Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Santa Ana and raised in Anaheim. I graduated from Loara High School and met my husband of 23 years at our 10 year reunion. We have two daughters and 2 granddaughters. 

What is your favorite memory from your time at Calvary Christian School? 
Just enjoying the sweet innocent conversations of my students, playing with the kids and seeing them receive Christ and understand his great love for him.

Who have been the biggest spiritual influences in your life? 
My awesome Pastor, Rick Warren, all the teaching pastors at Saddleback Church my small group members and my fabulous co-workers have played a huge part in my spiritual journey.
