What do you do at Calvary?

I teach Transitional Kindergarten

How did you come to Calvary and how long have you been here?

I was an intern for CHildren’s Ministry here at Calvary for 2 years, so I was familiar with the campus and some of the teachers. I have attended Calvary Church since 2015. I have working here at CCP since January 1, 2022

What is your educational background and training?

I have an AA in Liberal Studies, I have my Bachelors in Child and Adolescent Development from Cal State Fullerton. I have been teaching since 2017 and I have to say my favorite group is TK! 

Where were you born and raised?

I was born and raised in Acapulco, Mexico until I was 7 years old, and I have lived in the city of Tustin after my family immigrated from Mexico.

What is your favorite memory from your time at Calvary Christian School?

I am looking forward to making some amazing memories, but so far my favorite is getting so many hugs from my students.

Who have been the biggest spiritual influences in your life?

Didn’t grow up in  a Christian household, so Jesus Christ and His holy spirit have been a great influence in my life, reading His word and having a relationship with Him have changed by heart. Along the way I have been encouraged by many spiritual mentors (too many to mention!)

Hello, my name s Wendy and I feel absolutely blessed to be serving your children here at Calvary Christian PReschiiol. Mymain goal is to share the love of God while making learning super fun!
